Robert Kalundi Sserumaga, the Radio One journalist who was arrested by security operatives last Friday on allegations of making seditious utterances has been released on bailed, after he was charged with six counts of sedition.
The talk show host appeared before Buganda road court grade one magistrate John Wekesa on Tuesday and denied the charges saying he uttered the alleged statements but with no intention of bringing hatred to the person of the president.
Prosecution alleges that Sserumaga on September 11 of this year while on appearing on a local TV station, WBS TV uttered various seditious statements
